Barefoot Skincare Co began with a simple belief that true beauty is meant to be natural, intentional, and close to the earth. Handcrafted in small batches on the NSW Central Coast, our skincare follows a slow beauty philosophy, where every step is thoughtful and never rushed. We choose only the finest certified organic and wild-harvested ingredients, combining nutrient-rich tallow rendered in-house with botanicals distilled straight from nature. The result is small-batch, slow-crafted skincare that nourishes deeply, restores balance, and cares for skin just as nature intended.
Behind the brand
Back in 2010 Nick was looking for answers. Battling eczema, asthma, hayfever, and compromised gut health, he had tried everything. As a last resort he decided to try creating his own skin balm in his kitchen from organic ingredients from his local health food shop. That initial tiny jar wasn't merely a solution, it was the start of something much greater.
As Nick’s wellbeing started to change, so did his journey as he became increasingly immersed in natural living. From this, he began his first skincare company, followed by operating an organic health food shop and an organic café. Through each progression, he learned more about wellness, sustainability, and the strength of living simply.
By 2021, after over a decade of growth and learning, Barefoot Skincare Co was born. Now, from the kitchen in their Ettalong Beach home that he shares with his wife and daughters, he handcrafts small-batch skincare with the same care and intention that began it all.
