Outback Wild was established on a love for Australia's untamed wilderness with a mission to deliver sustainable, quality products that evoke adventure, build connections, and merge the raw power of nature into everyday life.
In 2004, brothers Tomas and Richard Kordos set up their Coco Processors factory in South East Melbourne, turning their chocolate love into a family business. They started off by doing whimsical Easter designs, later moving to truffles and conventional chocolate bars. Their work soon caught the attention of retailers like Peter Alexander and big supermarket chains, who asked them to make chocolate for their companies.
The brothers shifted gears in 2019, committing to vegan chocolate full-time. They renovated their plant to make it a completely dairy-free facility, as well as ensuring that it was also gluten, nut, and allergen-free. "A number of our vegan friends said that there wasn't a bar that they felt was worth the price," Richard said. "We wanted to make one that offered more chocolate at a better price."
